
While resistive touch screens work best when one has a stylus in-hand, capacitive displays work better with fingertips. Unfortunately, current technology cannot solve the problem of glove-covered fingertips handling such devices, although Axiotron’s MacBook-based Modbook tablets will be working with Touch International to produce a Synergy Touch screen that allows one to use the screen as either capacitative or resistive, depending on the situation. Synergy Touch screens are a given when it comes to purchasing new 15.4″ Modbook Pros. No idea on how much this accessory will set you back by though.
