Motorola, having forged an alliance with Google recently to feature the Android platform on their future smartphones, has just released word that the upcoming Windows Mobile-powered Motorola Alexander has been scrapped. This is a pity as it has been marked to feature an 8-megapixel camera which is certainly a first for the ailing mobile manufacturer. Ah well, guess all those R&D money and time has gone down the drain – hopefully they’ll have better luck with the new Android-powered phones.
