Motorola VE465 Clamshell Plays It Tough

Motorola has introduced its VE465 semi-rugged clamshell handset that is now available on Alltel’s website, but no word has been released concerning its pricing details at the moment. Those living in the Great White North can check out the VE465 on Telus if they’re interested, as it will be going under the “Motorola VE465 Active Edition” moniker there. Specifications of the VE465 include :-

  • CDMA 800/1900/1700/2100 connectivity
  • 1.9″ TFT internal display with 176 x 220 pixels and 65k colors
  • 1.05″ CSTN external display with 96 x 80 pixels
  • Brew OS
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • Music/video player
  • 1.3 megapixel camera
  • USB 2.0
  • microSD memory card slot

Definitely not something worth drooling over, but folks who want a hardy and reliable flip phone without breaking the bank might want to give this a second look.
