MSI GT725 Gets ATI Graphics Card

The MSI GT725 is a venerable gaming machine, and this time round it is equipped with the extremely potent ATI Radeon HD4850 that is touted to offer desktop graphics performance on a single card. While it won’t be as speedy as ATI’s CrossFire solutions where two video cards run in parallel, it ought to be more than enough for the average gamer to be happy with its performance results. Other specifications found on the gaming centric MSI GT725 include 1080p resolution support, a 17″ widescreen display, Blu-ray playback and a 9-cell battery to sustain you through work and play. It will be powered by Intel’s venerable 2.53GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo P9500 processor, but be prepared to build some muscles if you procure this as the GT725 tips the scales at over 7 pounds. No idea on how big a hole it will burn your pockets, but it shouldn’t go too far beyond the $1,600 price point.
