Another day, another clone – this time round a much more blatant effort by design pirates over at China. The fake Nokia N83 that you see here boasts touchscreen functionality, although we wouldn’t dare place our money on it by claiming it to be on par with the iPhone, let alone other touch-based UIs like Windows Mobile. It measures roughly as thick as the N95, and will feature some rather mind-boggling specifications that seem to go backwards rather than forwards, such as the VGA camera. Apart from that, you get a 400 x 240 resolution display, dual SIM slots, Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated FM radio module, a 3.5mm headphone jack and up to 3 hours of talk time. No idea which market demographic would pick this up.
