NVIDIA is cancelling NVISION 2009, its yearly graphics-industry event which has debuted last year. The original idea was that NVIDIA would do the heavy lifting for the first year, then let the graphics industry carry on with the show. Last year’s show was interesting (see nvision keynote), but this might not be the right time to “invest” in such a show this year – it costs millions to organize. Also, given the industry-wide travel restrictions, it is unlikely that attendance would be high anyway. Too bad.
