Registered Wii software developers have just been given the nod of approval from NVIDIA to have a go at the PhysX software development kit (SDK). This announcement comes shortly on the heels of NVIDIA releasing a similar SDK for Sony PS3 developers. While the Wii lacks the graphical processing power of Microsoft and Sony’s consoles, that doesn’t mean less-than-stellar visuals won’t be able to keep gamers equally engrossed with NVIDIA’s PhysX engine. We wonder what kind of realistic game environments will be made available – perhaps Cooking Mama will have her carrots flying all over the place if you fail to skin them correctly?
