Plasma displays might be way better than LCDs in terms of quality, but when it comes to sheer cost effectiveness, the latter beats the crap out of plasma. After all, every cent counts in today’s economy, and many manufacturers have already pulled out of the plasma display business. Panasonic’s super slim 54Z1 plasma TV was recently spotted in the wild though, and what makes this model so special compared to the others in the market apart from its incredibly thin design is the inclusion of a wireless HD receiver box that comes along with it. The image quality looks sharp enough to surprise just about anyone viewing it, proving that wireless HD is on par with a wired connection. Would you fork out $6,000 for this though?
