
As the release date of the Panasonic’s DMC GH1 draws ever close to April 24, we get more and more excited about it. After all, you must admit that the red color it comes in looks extremely sexy, but is the design worth the tradeoff of a $1,500 price point? At the very least you will find the G1 come with a video capture mode as well as perform various functions in which both Nikons and Canons cannot – that is, capturing 1080p video at 24fps in addition to continuous contrast-based autofocus with a silent-focusing lens.
