
Panasonic has another two Blu-ray players announced today, although these won’t feature VHS compatibility as with the DMP-BD70V. Both the DMP-BD60 and DMP-BD80 will merge high quality images with enhanced networking functions, comprising of VIERA Cast’s improved internet functionality that allows viewers to gain access to Amazon VOD’s huge library of titles to keep them entertained at all times. In addition, the 2009 line of Blu-ray players will also feature VIERA Link for the user to operate audio/video components with a single remote via HDMI. Power efficiency have also been included in both players as Panasonic readies them for an April launch, with the DMP-BD60 and DMP-BD80 going for $299.95 and $399.95, respectively. [Press Release]
