Philips Xenium X700

Philips has an extremely small market presence where cell phones are concerned, and they’re more famous for their superior battery life instead of being feature heavy. Same thing applies to the Xenium X700 – the latest from the Xenium range that comes with a phenomenal 720-hour standby time and 450 minutes of talk time! We suppose that is partly due to the exclusion of 3G connectivity which saps a whole lot of juice if you’re into heavy mobile surfing. The Xenium X700 looks set to be released in China and selected European countries for approximately €170. Some of the features found on this clamshell handset include :-

  • Quad-band GSM connectivity
  • 2.4″ TFT internal display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors
  • 2″ TFT external QVGA display
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • Music/video player
  • Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
  • FM radio with RDS
