While the long awaited PS3 price cut did not come, Sony decided to slash the price of the PS2 by hitting $99.99 a pop from tomorrow onwards, and this is no April Fool’s joke. No idea who else in America would want to pick up the PS2 considering it has been around for what seems like a lifetime (at least to kids who are 12 years old or so), as Sony hopes to stem some of their financial bleeding by moving more previous generation consoles after slashing its price. We personally think that Sony could have done better by reducing the price of its PS3. For those who have yet to have a taste of what the PS2 offers, now would be the best time to do so.
