Samsung might be in the netbook game, but that doesn’t mean they have forgotten about the UMPC market either. The Korean electronics company will be rolling out the Samsung NP-Q1EX that is packed with a 7? WSVGA touchscreen display at 1,024 × 600 resolution, a digital camera of unknown megapixel count on the back, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. All these will be powered by a VIA Isaiah processor, but apart from those details, we have no idea when it will arrive nor how much will it cost. Leaked setup photos have pointed towards an embedded SiRF Star III GPS chipset that has been doing its job extremely well over the years, so no reason to sulk in that department.
