Verizon will be replacing its low-end Samsung U340 with yet another handset from the Korean cell phone manufacturing company – the Smooth U350. This new clamshell seems to bring nothing new to the equation though, save for a change in the phone’s style as everything else, including the VGA camera, 128 x 160 resolution display and lack of microSD memory card slot remains the same. Someone send Samsung a memo to kindly upgrade their entry-level handsets to something more decent. No idea on pricing, but the Samsung Smooth will be out before the month is over, accompanied by a $50 rebate.
