Elecom has a brand new pointing device – the Scope Node Mouse that makes it feel as though you’re holding a pen. No idea whether folks who are used to Wacom tablets will be able to take to this like a fish to water, but the image you se shows a 1,600DPI laser sensor located on the underside of the mouse in an off-center position, placing it closer to where the tip of the pen would be if it were held in your hand. It supposedly offers a more precise mousing experience which leads us to ask – will there be an extreme gaming edition of the Scope Node Mouse? Other features include a weirdly-placed scroll wheel. No idea on how much the Japan-based Scope Node Mouse will cost though.
