
For those who ever found themselves in the awkward position of requiring a PC Card in addition to an ExpressCard but had to choose from only one, you would have wished for the Sierra Wireless AirCard 402 to make an appearance there and then. Designed to fit into both PC Card and ExpressCard slots, the AirCard 402 will provide data speeds of 3.1Mbps and 1.8Mbps for downloads and uploads, respectively. This card relies on TRU-Locate GPS technology for location based services which comprise of local searches and navigation. While this isn’t the first two-in-one broadband adapter, it marks a first for Sierra Wireless.
