Sony takes another stab at trumpeting their Blu-ray technology by announcing the impending release of two new Blu-ray Disc recorders – the 500GB BDZ-A950 and 320GB BDZ-A750. Both models not only support the acTVila video delivery service for digital TVs in Japan, they can also export recorded or downloaded content onto various Sony portable multimedia devices such as the PSP and Walkman series. In addition, recorded content from analog broadcasts that do not come with copy protection signals can also be sent to cell phones for a truly mobile entertainment experience. There is no word on when either device will be out Stateside, but we do know folks living in Japan can look formward to pick up the 320GB and 500GB models for $1,450 and $1,757, respectively, this April 24th.
