Stanton, a name often associated with turntables, has cranked out another two models for the masses – the T.92 and T.55 USB turntables that come with USB and S/PDIF outputs alongside Cakewalk Pyro Audio Creator and Audacity software. Both models will feature an S-Shaped tone arm for lower distortion and reduced record wear, while an integrated DSP with key lock helps the user control tempo without affecting pitch. What makes the two different in pricing then? The T.55 is a belt-drive turntable that boasts a straight tone arm, whereas the more expensive T.92 boasts a high-torque direct drive motor. You can pick up the T.92 and T.55 for $299 and $199, respectively.
