LCD monitors are dime a dozen, but LED monitors? Those are fairly new to the market, and Diguang International from China will be parading its new super slim 19″ and 22″ LED monitors at CeBIT. Measuring just 13.3mm thin and tipping the scales at a mere 2.5kg (that’s lighter than some notebooks we know of), these 19″ LED monitors sip just 25W of power. Compared this to current 19″ CCFL monitors that measure around 5cm to 7cm in thickness while weighing nearly double. Green in IT is definitely in, and we hope other companies will also follow such efforts in the near future. Hopefully prices for such monitors will come down in the near future for mass adoption by the market. [Press Release]
