Word has it that T-Mobile could possibly be favoring the Android platform from Google in due time, breaking up with Windows Mobile in the process. Apparently, Reinhard Clemens, board member at Deutsche Telekom (the company behind T-Mobile), recently mentioned that “Android will be a Windows of future”. He even dissed Windows Mobile for its power guzzling ability, while giving bouquets to Android for enabling mobile operators to remain somewhat independent from hardware manufacturers. While this doesn’t mean that T-Mobile will be steering clear of Windows Mobile devices, it does point toward a more Android-friendly policy in the near future.
