Electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors will be working on a new four-door sedan known as the Model S, which is much more road-friendly compared to their maiden outing with the sporty Tesla Roadster. The Model S sounds promising on paper – featuring a range of up to 300 miles with but a single charge, a QuickCharge feature that allows you to get up and running within 45 minutes, as well as a pretty impressive acceleration rate from a stationary position – hitting 0 to 60 in just 5.6 seconds. We assume that this happens with just one driver inside, cause if you fit in another six people to the maximum, it will probably hit the 2-digit barrier before smelling 60 mph. Tesla will probably price the Model S at $49,900 after a $7,500 federal tax credit.
