Thanko USB Nandemo Microscope LITE

Gadget mavens Thanko is back in business with the new USB Nandemo Microscope LITE that is able to magnify objects by a factor of 40, projecting whatever it sees onto a 17″ display at a maximum resolution of 640 x 480. Don’t worry about this being a pain to tote around – after all, it measures just 140mm long and 12mm in diameter, tipping the scales at a mere 100 grams. The microscope is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor and plays nice with Windows XP and Vista, leaving Mac users out of the equation yet again. A bunch of 8 LEDs located on the tip will illuminate dark areas where the microscope ventures forth for all and sundry to see. Would you fork out $105 for this?
