Guess collecting baseball cards has just gotten more exciting – Topps has released a new line of baseball cards which allow you to see a 3D avatar of the player on the card on a computer monitor. You will be able to move the card within the camera frame, viewing the avatar from all directions – no idea if we’re able to see stained pants or torn gloves. The technology used is supplied by a company known as Total Immersion, while the avatars can be used to play games such as batting, catching, and pitching. A pack of a dozen cards will retail for $2 – how many of you out there are still collecting baseball cards? Do you buy by the box, or pick them up in packets?
