Wacom Nextbeat Music Controller

Wacom is more famous for its line of graphic tablets, but this time round they have released something we would’ve thought is out of their league – a music controller known as Nextbeat. This device will cater to both professional and casual digital DJs who want to introduce a new method of playing their music and keeping the party crowd entertained. It comes with a special docking wireless control pod that allows you to roam and control sounds which have been loaded onto the Nextbeat base station. Each purchase comes with a pair of digital audio players, a mixer, sampler and effect units – all you need to do is plug it into your sound system. The Nextbeat DJ system will be released in Europe and Japan this summer, with no word on an American rollout just yet.
