Wolf 3D Coming To iPhone

The iPhone is starting to shape up as a pretty formidable portable gaming device, and id Software’s head honcho, John Carmack, has just made available Wolfenstein 3D on the platform for free. Yes, you read that right – there is no need to fork out a single cent for this seminal FPS title, but the only drawback is you will need to jailbreak your iPhone before it is able to run. Apart from a few tweaks to the game, most of it plays just like the good old days of 1992 when this game took the world by storm. Carmack himself is now working on a similar port of Doom – when’s multiplayer Quake coming?
