Dial-a-Phone has introduced its latest handset known as the 100-F courtesy of Latvian manufacturer Lirpa to help stem the global credit crunch tide, functioning as a coin-operated device or a credit/debit card handset. The UK-centric model will feature a £1 coin slot for calls, while folks who want to send texts will be able to take advantage of the 10p slot. If carrying all that loose change with you is too much effort, then you can always settle for the credit/debit card slot option. Definitely not a pocket-friendly handset especially when it is filled to the brim with coins. Users have no access to the coin box, and will have to send it to the network provider to have it emptied.
