Acer aspires to be at the top of the notebook game with their, er, Aspires, by launching another two models today – the Aspire 3935-6704 as well as the Aspire 8935G. The former will come with a 13.3″ LED widescreen display, a chiclet keyboard, an HDMI port for all your high definition needs, and a slot load DVD burner although we think a Blu-ray drive would do better to complement the HDMI port. All this for $900 sounds like a pretty good bargain. On the other hand, you also have the Aspire 8935G which will ship this June and comes with an 18.4″ widescreen display at 1080p resolution alongside a backlit chiclet keyboard. There is no word on pricing just yet.
