Apple Could Get 15-inch OLED Display

Whispers on the street point towards Apple being the main benefactor of OLED displays sometime this summer with LG being the main supplier who will offer their newly-developed 15″ OLED displays for a new notebook that is tipped for a June release. Specifications as well as a notebook line were not mentioned according to the rumor from Australia’s Smarthouse which cited a senior LG executive from LG Display as the main source, although it wouldn’t be too far off to suggest Apple considering the company has always been in the lead of cutting edge technology alongside news of the fruity company agreeing to a 5-year deal with LG Display that involves a cool half billion dollars.
