Archos has not released anything official to date, but we already have leaks of the Archos 2 and 4 players turning up – with the former being listed on Amazon already. Don’t expect these to turn the world upside down as they’re another alternative to what the fruity company offers, and trading $60 for 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 1.8″ display at 128 x 160 resolution and voice recording capability sounds like a pretty good deal – of course, you can always fork out more for the 16GB model. As for the Archos 4, very little is known about it apart from a 4″ display and up to 32GB of internal flash memory.
