Bee One Electric Vehicle

Most of us have the conception that electric vehicles are expensive although they are infinitely “greener” compared to a regular gas guzzler. Well, things might change pretty soon with the introduction of the Bee One four-seater electric vehicle that is making its way to the UK, retailing for just $17,700 – making it potentially the most affordable e-car in that part of the world. Considering that the sticker price tag could drop to a cool $10,000 after the $7,400 e-car subsidy offered by the government, we hope other regimes around the world will follow suit in order to support the likes of such vehicles as we do our part to make sure there is an earth for our children to live in the future. The Bee One is touted to hit a top speed of 80mph with a maximum range of 200 miles (at average speed, of course). A couple of modular battery units located under the floor will power the Bee One. Interestingly enough, it will be connected to a 3G network at all times, enabling over-the-air updates to keep your car in tip-top shape (software-wise) at all times.
