Much has been said about babies who are still in the womb responding to parents’ voices and calming down whenever they hear soothing music of past greats such as Mozart, and here comes designer Geof Ramsay with his B(l)aby device that functions as a massaging wrap around a pregnant tummy, giving relief to both mother and child in a very special way. Parents-to-be will be able to record their own voices or play back lullabies of their choice to the foetus through the wrap. On the front of the B(l)aby device are touch sensitive controls integrated into luminescent fabric. No idea if this concept will do well if it were to be marketed.
