
BlackBerry has just released their new operating system for the Bold under the guise of 5.0, and it offers more than a facelift. Word on the street has it that this is somewhat similar to the BlackBerry Niagara interface, although it has been customized to work with the Storm. Google Gears support has also been included alongside remote file access as promised by BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0. We also have word that memory usage information is also broken down in a wiser manner, making the 5.0 operating system update a gradual move forward without introducing anything revolutionary.
