Check out this next generation notebook concept from designer Hao Hua – dubbed the D-Roll, or rather, digital roll in full. It distances itself from the traditional concept, instead taking on the form of an artist’s scroll. No idea if flexible display technology will ever advance to such an extent where it can be used in such a manner, but the D-Roll looks set to be a best seller if it ever makes it to store shelves anywhere. With the display being paper thin, it will definitely make lugging around your notebook a snap, and with the introduction of an in-between configuration which allows you to browse e-mail on the go, you’ll be able to remain in touch virtually anywhere you are.
