The Eee PC line has certainly spread its wings far and wide, making its way to Japan, known by the model number 1003HAG. This one is different from others in the market since it will come with an internal wireless WAN module alongside support for NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA network with 7.2Mbps on the downlink. Those who already have a local connection can always take advantage of it with the 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity options. Apart from that, everything else just shouts “netbook” including its WSVGA display, Intel Atom N280 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive and an average 4-hour battery life. Asus has set a $722 bounty on the Eee PC 1003HAG when it arrives in the Land of the Rising Sun this May 16th.
