The HTC S522, also known as the MAPL100 (Maple), has dropped by the FCC for a quick visit. What we’ve found out about this handset includes 3G on the AWS band and it being 100% compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA network. Unfortunately, the FCC has remained mum on whether there will be an Inner Circle service included or not. Chances are we will be able to check out an unbranded S522 being sold in the US sometime this summer, and it doesn’t look too likely that T-Mobile will be able to hold down this handset as an exclusive.
