Sony Ericsson’s W518a was first leaked out last month, and we were left wondering just how much longer do we have to wait for this clamshell Walkman phone to hit the streets. Well, good news – the FCC has just approved this handset, and we do know that it will be available via AT&T. While an exact release date is still unknown, the next few months would be a pretty good bet. The Sony Ericsson W518a will come with a QVGA internal display, external dedicated music controls, stereo Bluetooth connectivity and a 3.2–megapixel camera. In the meantime, some of us still hold out and hope that the 8-megapixel shooter C905a will be released earlier, which is much too long after the initial fall 2008 speculated release date.
