
Garmin attempts to prise more money away from you with a couple of Forerunner watches arriving at a store near you – the waterproof 310XT and the 405CX. The former boasts a rugged exterior and has been rated to work in depths of up to 50 meters, featuring a 20 hour battery lifeas well. Shared features between the two include GPS navigation, wireless connectivity and data synchornization using Garmin’s ANT+ technology as well as improved accuracy when it comes to keeping a record of how many calories you have burned. The Garmin 405XT and 310XT will retail for $369 and $349, respectively when they roll out sometime in Q2 this year.
