Vodafone Italy has already updated its product page with the HTC Magic while including all the official details, including the all-important one – its price. This Android-powered smartphone could be free if you’re a new subscriber who decides to stick to the carrier for a couple of years, but existing users can always fork out $198 by signing a new contract with a 9 Euro monthly fee. For those who don’t want to be bogged down by contracts, you can always pick up the HTC Magic on its own for $596. There is no word whether the Italian price structure will trickle down to other parts on the continent, so folks in the UK will just have to keep their fingers crossed that the carriers in that area will be more lenient.
