Intel Offers 2-Second Boot Time In Netbook

How many hours do you waste in an entire lifetime while waiting for your computer to boot up? Intel hopes to minimize this effect by getting your netbook ready to run within two seconds – thanks to Moblin, their own open-source project that was brought into existence to create an Atom-optimized OS for netbooks on the platform. This is surely an ambitious goal and will require a fair amount of significant strides to be made, and it would be best for us not to put a cap on human genius when it comes to solving problems.
