The FCC has just given their nod of approval to Lenovo’s new netbook which will come with an integrated AT&T-compatible 3G card, which points towards the possibility of a subsidized S9 coming out in the near future in addition to the current range of notebooks and netbooks from Lenovo. Of course, having built-in 3G capability in netbooks is always a bonus since you don’t have to seek out Wi-Fi hotspots wherever you go just to get online, but then again it does hit the battery quite a fair bit so hopefully the upcoming Lenovo machine will have a decent battery life to last the distance.
