The next time you look at your Lenovo computer, do take note of the effort from the company to do something about all the post-consumer plastic in the world. Lenovo has used over 2.2 million pounds of post-consumer recycled plastics in the manufacturing process of its PCs, helping them leap straight to the top when it comes to green computing, making them take their rightful place among the most environmentally responsible PCs and monitors on the market today. Lenovo’s effort to keep the earth green also includes reducing packaging materials consumption by up to 750 tons each year. Part of this effort includes utilizing 100% recycled cushioning materials in a range of ThinkPad notebooks, ThinkCentre desktops and ThinkVision monitor packaging.
