LG Developing Convertible Computer

Word has it that LG is currently working on a convertible computer that will come “equipped with a notebook computer function and a tablet computer function.” In layman’s terms, this would be something like the upcoming Asus Eee PC T91, although the LG offering is different as it boasts a couple of operating systems, detecting on which mode the machine was configured in before selecting the right operating system to go along with the experience. We’re still in the dark as to whether this is a netbook or a full-fledged laptop, but chances are LG will lean towards the former. With news of LG cooling off from the netbook department while concentrating more on cell phones this year, our best bet is for this device to roll out in 2010 at the earliest.
