Folks who have a penchant for smartphones from LG will be pleased to know that the GW610 is on its way, making it the second handset from LG’s GW line right after the GW520 Calisto. Very little else is known about this mysterious phone, but we do know of selected unofficial details that include it being powered by Windows Mobile, a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, a 2-megapixel camera, H.264 video and UMTS support. We’re guessing that the GW610 will use Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and that the display will be touchscreen capable as Steve Ballmer has already mentioned that Windows Mobile Standard Edition has outlived its usefulness. Ah well, only time will reveal whether the LG GW610 is all it is meant to be.
