
We told you yesterday that Microsoft dispelled rumors of a Microsoft-branded phone several times (Steve Balmer said so himself at MWC), and in the aftermath of the Microsoft/Verizon rumor, Microsoft says it again: they are focusing on getting Windows 6.5 out of the door at prices that will make smartphones affordable. To make it clear, John Starkweather said: “Microsoft is not going into the phone hardware business.”.
