MSI Militarizes Video Cards

MSI decided that plain specifications and features on a video card just will not do these days, as there has to be some sort of marketing gimmick thrown in to attract buyers. This philosophy is expounded in a couple of special edition video cards known as the N260GTC Lightning and the N260GTX Lightning Black Edition. Both cards will feature similar specifications, although the latter will feature a special panel called the Air Force panel on the front. It is not there for aesthetic purposes alone, as it can be used to overclock the card with a simple touch. MSI claims the components used are of the highest grade so you don’t have to worry about your card burning out when pushed to maximize performance. Each card comes with 1,792MB of GDDR3 RAM at 2100MHz and are specially equipped with V-Check points for measuring voltage during overclocking. Cooling comes in the form of a twin fan setup known as Twin Frozr. There is no word on pricing and availability as at press time.
