With a fair amount of tweaking, of course. Johannes from Eee PC.de took hold of a standard MSI Wind U115 and replaced its 6-cell battery with a 9-cell version, offering it the ability to lay claim to a literal “all day long computing” statement. After all, tests showed that it was able to run for an astounding 25 hours before it was exhausted, nearly double the amount of the 13 hours that the original 6-cell battery provided. Of course, the unofficial test involved turning the Battery Eater set to its lowest setting, but if one were to use it for web surfing amidst other productivity software, chances are we’ll see this number drop to 18 hours thereabouts.
