Spam has evolved to something we take for granted, a necessary nuisance to reap the benefits of email, and that has even translated to SMS messages these days. Nice to know that a couple of Senators have recently introduced a bill that could see the end of SMS spam to wireless customers listed in the FTC’s Do Not Call list. This new legislation will definitely go one up on the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 which prevented the spam of cell phones with email. Nice to see our Senators at work for the betterment of our society.
