Nintendo Bigwig Points To Possible DSi Phone Function

The Nintendo DSi is the latest iteration of their original third pillar device, the DS Phat, which has evolved to the highly successful DS Lite before arriving at its current destination. We’re stoked – and thanks to Nintendo top dog Satoru Iwata who mentioned something about the DSi doubling up as a phone made us sit up and pay attention even more. Could Iwata be referring to a possible VoIP application that allows gamers to make free calls? A Skype for DSi, perhaps?
