Word has it that Nokia and Verizon are hoping to roll out a new high-end full touchscreen QWERTY slider when November 2009 rolls around, and this launch will coincide with the latest instalment of the Superman trilogy, known as Superman Prevails. The new handset has so far been dubbed the Verizon Nokia Superman, where it will be featured rather prominently in the movie itself. We wonder whether it is able to stop a bullet in its tracks, or can be used to double up as an x-ray camera (now that’d be super cool) for folks who wish they were of Clark Kent’s biological heritage. Some of the more “super” specifications include :-
- 3.5″ AMOLED touchscreen display
- 12 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss lens
- Xenon flash and HD video recording
- 64GB internal memory
- microSDHC memory card slot
