
Folks who own a non-US Vaio P will be able to hack their unit to enable HSDPA connectivity thanks to the efforts of DC-unlocker and Conics.net who recently announced that the Option GTM 382 data card found within the highly configurable Vaio P90 can now be unlocked, much to the delight of the masses. According to Conics, it ought to work just fine be it in Europe or Japan, as only US-bound Vaio Ps will come with the Gobi chipset while the rest will feature the unlockable Globetrotter MO40x.
